With a history in wine of over a thousand years, Gaillac is the eastern-most AOC in the southwest of France. The right bank of the Tarn offers clay-limestone slopes facing southeast. There are many microclimates and endemic grape varieties that can bring a real individual identity to the wine.
In 2005, after twelve years as an oenologist, Nicolas Lebrun purchased 6 ha of vines, built a cellar and embracing the realities of working the land, set about becoming a winegrower, his ultimate passion.
The estate is located in Vertus, on a deep clay hillside, facing south, on the edge of the Tarn valley. The microclimate is therefore sunny and windswept (Autan and West). These conditions make it a terroir with great potential.
