From her 8 hectare estate in the heart of Fleurie, Anne-Sophie incorporates stylistic cues from her winemaking experience in Volnay that yield an expression of Gamay that has depth, texture, and aromatic complexity. She farms organically and in the cellar prefers to stay as much out of the way as possible. She just has the right approach to winemaking – adhering to traditional methods of vinification and allowing her Fleurie to "sing." I tasted two recent releases from Anne-Sophie and, like previous wines, they are a) difficult to pronounce and b) absolutely delicious.
