"The Bucaco wines are still vinified using the same methods as in the past. The white grapes are gently pressed and left to settle for about 24 hours. Alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously, in 300 L new French oak barrels. The wine ages in its barrels for 10-12 months. This white is fresh with a pronounced mineral character, high acidity and great precision. Its finish is very long, noble and balanced. The fact that the grapes are coming from two regions, Dao and Bairrada, results in a unique blend which develops beautifully in the bottle. The Encruzado from Dao contributes for the perfect balance between sugar and acidity and to the extraordinary structure. Maria Gomes and Bical contribute to the balanced acidity and citrus aromas."-Importer
