"Fresh fennel and gently floral aromas. This has a rounded, oval shape in the mouth, like a marble pebble. Very smooth and polished, but not oaky. Plenty of intensity of flavour, it’s concentrated and long – way better than most Côtes du Rhônes. So impressive. Really generous and very southern Rhône in style, but so fresh and pure. Just lovely. A blend of Clairette, Roussanne, Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc and Viognier.

Equal parts Clairette, Grenache, Roussanne and Viognier, the 2022 Cotes du Rhone Blanc la Gerbaude is a bit simple and direct, but it boasts charming fruit (pear and citrus), a silky feel in the mouth and a crisp, refreshing finish.
