This is creamy, toasty and aromatic--sporting concentrations of golden apple, fresh cream, vanilla, baking spices, and even perhaps a bit of grilled pineapple. And yet, considering the balance here, I would have suspected it hails not from Lodi but from a high-end North Coast AVA! Drink it with lobster rolls, prawns, or honey baked ham.
