a Fussière is a 1er Cru vineyard in Maranges with soils of white limestone over blue-colored marl with fossils strewn throughout. This 100% Chardonnay is fermented and aged in oak barrels, 20% of which are new. The oak gives the wine some flesh and roundess, though this is a fresh, lively 1er Cru with plenty of energy and refreshment.
