This Cali Chard is not shy. It's creamy, toasty and aromactic--sporting concentrations of golden apple, fresh cream, vanilla, baking spices, and even perhaps a bit of grilled pineapple. And yet, considering the balance here, I would have suspected it hails not from Lodi but from a high-end North Coast AVA! Drink it with lobster roll, prawns, or baked ham and pineapple
