This 2021 Vaulorent comes from a 2.2 hectare vineyard that is home to 55-75 year old vines. Soils are what you would expect - Kimmeridgian - with a southwestern exposure. This site sits adjacent to the Grand Cru cluster, bordering Preuses just to the north. The nose is Chablis classicism: salinity, lemon, chalk, and white flowers. Perfectly weighted, the palate follows with a classy, graceful Chablis laden with hints of pineapple, tropical fruits, baked granny smith apple, and flint.
