This village level wine's vines are nor particularly old, but definitely not young - at close to 30 years of age. The wine is balanced and delicious -a truly great expression of white Burgundy. Soil is mostly Limestone, and 2016 was a great year, weather - wise enabling a nice harvest of great-looking ripe Chardonnay, at 57 Hectoliters per Hectare. The harvest was done manually and the wines are pressed in a balloon press, with 24 hours of skin contact and the wines are aged in oak barrels for 12 months - of which 15% is new oak. - Importer
