This is a medium-bodied, food friendly Chard that opens with notes of ripe fruit: banana, lemon and orange, backed by flinty, toasty oak characters. The mouthfeel is creamy but the citrus fruit is a touch sour, sitting a little heavily. It lifts and brightens on the finish, however, and wants for the right food pairing.
