"The 2009 I Sistri is 100% Chardonnay fermented and aged in barrel. This is an unusually refined, polished vintage for I Sistri. The richness of the vintage is evident, yet the fruit shows considerable subtlety framed by insistent minerality. I am far from a fan of Tuscan Chardonnay, but this is an unquestionably fine wine. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2017."
