This is from a selection of vineyards planted around 1945 in the Almahue zone of the Cachapoal Valley, and in a warm year like 2020, this wine shows unusual freshness. Harvesting early contributed in that sense, which makes the wine seem juicy and rich in red fruits. It was aged for a year, half in foudres and half in barrels of different prior uses, which has contributed a certain sweetness and spices to this charming and juicy carmenere.

Juicy, fruity red with aromas of raspberries, redcurrants, sour cherries, mushrooms and dried herbs. Medium-bodied with bright acidity and sleek tannins. Crunchy and delicious. Drink or hold.
