The 2017 El Microscopi is a blend of 80% Cariñena and 20% Merlot, where only the Merlot was aged in oak. It's a Mediterranean red with notes of black fruit and balsam, good ripeness and an earthy touch that gives it personality and a bit of rusticity. The tannins are fine-grained, and the palate feels quite balanced, with integrated acidity. 3,400 bottles produced.
