This seductive wine rolls up all the velvety appeal of Oakville Cabernet in a bottle that's comparatively affordable for what many consider Napa's best AVA for Cab. Plump dark plums, black currants, dark chocolate and cinnamon come to mind while savoring this full-bodied but gentle wine. Tannins are profuse but silky, so the wine is enjoyable already. Best from 2025–2035.

Lots of ripe black fruits, roasted herbs, new leather, and lead pencil notes emerge from the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville, a rich, meaty, medium to full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon that picks up some classic Oakville iron and olive notes with air. Jeff and Tor both believe this is the finest vintage for this cuvée they've done, and I'm hard-pressed to argue with them.
