Medicinal herbs lift from the glass of the 2021 Oltresogno with aromas of eucalyptus, fresh mint, black cherry, and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, it brings fresh energy with clean lift and a refined feel, without being overdone. It’s pure and inviting, and I’m very impressed with these wines from Campo Alle Comete. They have precision without any excess weight and a silky, stony texture underpinning the wines. Drink 2024-2037.

This is the reason why it has been selected as one of the three main grape varieties of the DOC Bolgheri appellation, and coming to full maturation expresses its great power and elegance. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration for about 3 weeks in stainless steel Intense red ruby color. On the nose you recognize the typical fruity and spicy hints of the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The combination between mature and silky tannins and the spicy freshness gives this wine balance and pleasantness. Lingering aftertaste with intense aromas and a fresh spicy finish."
