From a site in St. Helena, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Alluvium Vineyard is another impressive, inky hued effort from this label. Gorgeously pure cassis, blackcurrants, scorched earth, graphite, chocolate, and spice notes dominate the nose, and it's just classic St. Helena goodness. Rich, full-bodied, structured, and with enough tannins to warrant 4-5 years of bottle age, this is the finest wine I've tasted from Mayaan's La Pelle label to date.
