Deep garnet-purple in color, the single-varietal 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Schweizer Vineyard opens with evolving notes of prunes, tobacco leaf, and blackcurrant pastilles, plus suggestions of incense, new leather, and fallen leaves. The full-bodied palate is packed with maturing black fruits, supported by grainy tannins and lovely tension, finishing long with an herbal lift.
