Product Description:
"After a great 10 year career in the NHL, and couple of Olympic medals, Valeri Bure decided he would turn his passion for wine in to a second career. His brand has seen incredible success since it's inception, racking up big scores from both Robert Parker and Antonio Galloni. The key to their success is Luc Morlet, who's resume includes Staglin Family, Peter Michael, as well as his own high scoring namesake label, Morlet Family. Luc's talents come from traveling the globe and learning wine from an early age, where is family owns a winery in Champagne. The other key is remarkable vineyards, as they source from 2 of Beckstoffer's best vineyards (Missouri Hopper and To Kalon), as well as having incredible hillside vineyards in St. Helena and Calistoga, which are planted to the Margaux clone. Winemaker Luc Morlet describes the site in Calistoga as having a similar soil type to another one he made for more than a decade....Peter Michael's Les Pavots. The results are tremendous, as the wine is ripe and generous, with plenty of texture and lush mouthfeel, yet with plenty of structure and density to let you know this has a very bright future ahead of it. As impressive as it is now, patience will be greatly rewarded."
