James Halliday - Australian Wine Companion:

A blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, petit verdot and merlot. Comes from a distinguished line of wines that have over-delivered, and this wine is up the best of those made to date. While much of its quality comes from the vineyard, it has also been very well made; its blackcurrant, redcurrant, cherry and spice flavours flow in a seamless stream across the palate and aftertaste.

Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media:

Glass-staining ruby. Very ripe but lively aromas of blackberry, licorice and fresh flowers, with a touch of smokiness. Dense, sweet and lush but also energetic, with black and blue fruit, violet and anise flavors nicely sharpened by juicy acidity. Clings with very good authority on the finish, with just a hint of tannins.

Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front:

"Barossa Valley blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, petit verdot and merlot. This is a well-structured, well-flavoured, medium-bodied red. It tastes of mulberry, blackcurrant, sweet ripe cherries, clovey oak and dusty dried herbs. It’s juicy, well-balanced and appreciably tannic, in a good way. Either soon-ish or with medium-term cellaring, it promises pretty solid drinking." Reviewed 7/13/2014

Wine Spectator:

Offers great presence, hanging the juicy black currant, blackberry and floral flavors on an upright frame, persisting easily on an open-textured finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. Drink now through 2018. 3,000 cases made. –HS
