"The 2008 Alias California Cabernet Sauvignon presents darker berries on the nose, but the flavors are surprisingly bright with blueberries, ripe strawberries, and subtle spice on the palate. The toasted oak character sits in the background allowing the spotlight to be on the fruit. Tannins are soft but structured, and there is a nice balance of acidity. This is a great, accessible Cabernet Sauvignon that can be enjoyed on it's own easily, but will pair will with a broad range of meat dishes and Mediterranean flavors."
