The 2022 La Casilla blends grapes from limestone soils with 20% each from limestone and clay and covered by boulders à la Châteauneuf. It fermented in oak vat and matured in those vats and 600-liter barrels for nine months. It has a spicy and smoky twist from the wood, which gives it a slightly more commercial profile, to make it different from P.F. It's young and undeveloped, still a little raw, in need of a few more months in bottle but with a fresh palate, balsamic and long. 14,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2023.
