"The 2017 Ischia Bianco is a blend of 40% Biancolella and 60% Forastera grapes from the heavenly island of Ischia off the Campania coast. This wine offers the creamy structure and stone fruit flavors of the first grape (Biancolella) against the tonic sharpness and crispness of Forastera. That winning combination awards the nose with plenty of aromatic and mineral intensity. You get creamy suppleness in the mouth. I am a huge fan of this absolutely singular Italian white wine. Some 30,000 bottles were released."

"Pale yellow. Lemon drop, white and yellow flowers and apple notes on the nose. More glyceral and dense than usual, showing lovely lemony cut to the perfumed orchard fruit and savory herb flavors. Finishes with brisk acidity and terrific grip."
