Di Meo winery is located east of Avellino in the heart of Irpinia, and was founded by three siblings in the early 1980s. For over forty years they've been producing incredible wines traditionally planted in the region.
This Taurasi Riserva - which is 100% Aglianico - is hand crafted with the utmost care; a gentle press is used to extract as much aromatic purity as possible, and sulfites are kept to a bare minimum. Elevage occurs in barrels, tonneaux and barriques made of Allier oak to promote the wine's ageability.
What results is a truly special expression of Aglianico, transporting drinkers to Campania and planting them directly in the beautiful Di Meo estate!
