2008 Seebrich Riesling Spatlese Hipping:
"Pungent and almost smoky in aroma, showing apple, pear and passion fruit flavors underscored by a mineral streak. Well-defined, balanced and vibrant, with a lingering finish. Drink now through 2020. 500 cases imported." - 91 points Wine Spectator

WINE:
"Bright and clear in the glass, this Riesling boasts mango, peach and passion fruit aromas. Fine minerality and vibrant acidity creates structural harmony with more tropical fruit tones on the palate. The finish is long and lingering, with hints of slate."

"The Niersteiner Hipping Vineyard benefits from it's close proximity to the Rhein river, as well as the red slate soil of the planted slopes. The resulting wines possess unique life and minerality. Also, the protected location of the Vineyard guarantees full fruit development." -Importer

WINERY:
"Weingut Seebrich consists of 10 hectares of prime vineyard land that slopes down to the banks of the Rhine River. The plots are located around the town of Nierstein. Soils are composed of loam, loess and red stone. The Hipping, Ölberg and Rosenberg vineyards are located on the 'Red Slope,' where the higher proportion of red stone imparts unique mineral qualities to the wines." -Importer

VINIFICATION:
"The Seebrich winery philosophy is to combine tradition and modern technique in order to obtain the highest possible quality of wine. Eco-friendly cultivation and late harvesting under optimal weather conditions is followed by gentle fermentation in stainless steel tanks and wood without human manipulation. Resulting wines maintain natural fruit aromas and develop pure elegance." -Importer

2007 Schiopetto Blanc De Rosis:
"Lots of mineral, apple pie and sage aromas and flavors follow through to a full body, with plenty of fruit and a fresh finish. A complex white. Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Malvasia and Ribolla. Best from 2009 through 2012."-91 Points - Wine Spectator

WINE:
"An historic assemblage of Tocai Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Malvasia and Ribolla, Blanc des Rosis is the product of a need to represent, in one unique wine, the vine variety present in the area. The manual harvest and the soft pressing are followed by a brief period of aeration with no presence of sulfur dioxide. 95% of fermentation takes place in stainless steel and 5% of Malvasia is fermented in barrels. The wine remains on its lees for 8 months, and is always harmonious and balanced, and displays wonderfully complex aromas." -Importer
