Earthy meets sweet on the nose, as spearmint, anise, and kimchi mingle with cinnamon spice, lemon tart, and lemon Starburst. Peppery spice develops on the palate, but it’s gentle and further softened by gingersnaps, marsh mallow creaminess, and lemon sorbet. The finish ties everything up with a neat, spicy sweet bow: Molasses cookies and peach tea are balanced by cayenne powder, jalapeño peppers, and plenty of rye spice.
