#150658 750 mL
2019 Bevan Cellars Tin Box Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Library Release
98 Lisa Perrotti-Brown - The Wine Independent
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Tin Box Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon rockets from the glass with powerful scents of warm cassis, blackberry preserves, and iron ore plus suggestions of cloves, cumin seed, forest floor, and dusty soil. The full-bodied palate has a super-firm backbone of ripe, rounded tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy.
97 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
There are 150 cases of the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Tin Box Vineyard, a rich, full-bodied effort that’s about as sexy and seamless as they come. Giving up plenty of darker fruits, plums, chocolate, tobacco, and a hint of graphite, it’s drink great and will continue drinking great for another 15 years or more.
97 J. D'Angelo - International Wine Report
The 2019 another Tin Box Cabernet Sauvignon is another absolutely sensational release from Bevan celalrs in this vintage. Composed of Cabernet Sauvignon with a percentage of Cabernet Franc, this deep, dark red begins with seductive aromas of ripe dark currants, black cherries and blueberries which are woven together with spices, pencil lead, tobacco, violets and wet gravel nuances. On the palate this offers a fabulous, plush full body, with amazing depth and concentration. It continues to seamlessly deliver loads of ripe dark fruits, which all build up and cascade on to the long opulent finish. There is nothing not to love about this, it is a simply outstanding wine that is delicious today and should continue to provide drinking pleasure over the course of the next two decades.

"Tobacco, black tea and pencil shavings on the nose. Cherry, plum, forest berry, milk chocolate, vanilla, leather and cured meat balance fine acidity and firm chalky tannins. Good tension, fresh finish."

"This features oak spice notes, but with nice vibrancy and ripeness of Damson plum and mulberry. Some ripe stem notes emerge and mark the moderately long finish." — Aleks Zecevic

2024 Lions De Suduiraut Blanc Sec Bordeaux
93 Jane Anson - Decanter
"Kick of gunsmoke reduction on the opening, waves of white peach, apricot pit, sage, mouthwatering and precise. Easy to drink, and easy to share. 70% in vats, 30% oak barrels, no new oak, 400l for Sauv. Gris."
"The 2024 Blanc Sec Lions de Suduiraut is fabulous. Intensely aromatic and deep, the 2024 is so impressive right out of the gate. Orchard fruit, white flowers, sage, mint and tomato leaf race across the palate, framed by brisk acids that pull it all together."
92 Decanter
"Quite varietal on the nose, elderflower, green apple, white floral notes and some crisp peach elements. White peach and pear, super cool and clear, a light touch of acidity with a hint of citrus but this is more on stone fruit and mineral freshness. Not so plump really but balanced nonetheless and super easy to drink. Ends clean. Bottled in February 2025. Represents 75% of the production of dry wines. "
"Smoked herbs and gooseberries with stones and sliced apples. Really fresh and medium-bodied, with good a texture and finish. Very good balance. Drink now."
90 Jeb Dunnuck - jebdunnuck.com
"Fermented in tank and barrel and already bottled, the 2024 Lions De Suduiraut Blanc is 56% Semillon, 29% Sauvignon Blanc, and the rest Sauvignon Gris. Clean, classic citrus, melon, minty herbs, and a kiss of spice all define the aromatics, and it's medium-bodied, with a vibrant, pure, clean style that's hard to resist."

2022 Te Mata Estate Coleraine
99 Huon Hooke - The Real Review
Deep, brooding purple-red colour with a concentrated berry fruit bouquet laced with cedar, violets and dried herbs, gorgeous fruit and classy oak embellishment. The wine is full bodied and powerful, with a generous serving of fine grained tannins that add length, authority and a drying but supple finish. Tremendous persistence and wonderful structure. A great wine, that will richly reward long-term cellaring
98 Sam Kim - Wine Orbit
The ‘King of the Grape’ Cabernet Sauvignon comes to the fore with its flatteringly classy presence. This is captivating and totally seductive on the nose, exhibiting blackcurrant, violet, game, anise, subtle tobacco and cedary oak characters, leading to a powerfully concentrated palate displaying considerable depth and exceptional concentration. Harmonious too, it’s gloriously structured and balanced with a firm grip, yet the tannins are just right and seamlessly infused. Perfectly proportioned, this 2022 has the majestic feel that each previous Coleraine possess. A blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot & 3% Cabernet Franc. At its best: 2032 to 2052.
97+ Erin Larkin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2022 Coleraine is a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. On the nose, the wine shows its sweet creamy oak, a cavalcade of dark fruit and an array of spices. The wine is powdery and ultra fine, with a gravelly score of tannin woven through the finish. A spectacular wine, it's still looking so primary and young at this early stage. I note the total acidity is akin to the 2013 vintage, and it serves to add an extra layer of freshness to the finish—a little uptick to close, if you will. This is awesome. It gets better every time I taste it. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under natural cork.

99 James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com
Superb aromas of black currants, rose petal and mint. Lavender and stones too. Full body with incredible fruit density. Complex, yet it's agile and bright. Tannins are perfectly polished. It builds on the palate and shows the structure of a first growth Bordeaux but remains so Chilean. A blend of 58% cabernet sauvignon, 15% carmenere, 12% malbec, 10% merlot, and 5% petit verdot. From biodynamically grown grapes. This is a joy to taste now but it will show itself in 2019. Even better than the amazing 2012.

92 Joe Czerwinski - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Both of these blocks are planted to Clone 2, a virus-free clone that came to FPS from Lodi. Block 7 was planted in 1975 and Block 22 in 1995. The 2022 Zinfandel Blocks 7 & 22 features floral, tea-like and even orange-like aromas, plus bold berry fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, silky-textured and open, with only the slightest hint of raisined fruit and a hint of French oak (one-third new barrels for 15 months). Finishing long and velvety, it's a fine Zin for drinking young, at a reasonable price.
