WINE:
Deep and dark colour. The nose is complex and remarkably intense with blackberry fruits, cherries and moka. Generous mouthfeel with similar notes, well-structured but balanced. Fine grained, velvety tannins. Long and persistent finish on cherries, liquorice, moka.
VITICULTURE & VINIFICATION:
Pebbles made of fluvio-glacial alluvium - stony, warm and filtering. Extremely dry in the summer favouring healthy and early maturing of grapes. Long maceration and running off warm into French oak barrels for 12 months.

The Cave de Tain has revived an original Syrah vineyard in Crozes Hermitage, in association with 7 other growers.
Located in the heart of the appellation, in Gervans, this vineyard enjoys an exceptionally good site and faces the RhĂ´ne : it is planted on slopes made up of granite sand with ideal exposure to sunlight.
