Thick, cultured cream, with nutty flavor. Creme Fraiche enriches sauces, soups, and adds a pure cream taste to all recipes without curdling over high heat. Whip to soft peaks for a dessert topping. Mix with berries, sugar and a dash of balsamic vinegar. It is also a Kosher product. This won second place in the creme fraiche products made from cow's milk category at the 2010 American Cheese Society Competition.
