"Saturated magenta. Aromatic scents of ripe red/blue fruits, baking spices and candied flowers. Juicy and seamless in texture, offering spice-tinged blueberry, black raspberry, licorice and spice-cake flavors that are complemented by subtle oak tones. Fruit-driven and accessible in style but structured as well, finishing with sneaky tannins and an echo of juicy blue fruit."
Product Description:
"All Zinfandel. All Paso Robles. The nose is very ripe, concentrated aromas of red fruit, leather, earth, spice and herbs leading to a very structured, full mouth-feel. Complex flavors of peach cobbler, chalk, dried herbs, and earth give way to an array of blackberry, strawberry, and unexpected apple.
The 2017 vintage saw our drought end with a bang. The wet soils delayed budbreak to a normal time frame and produced such a healthy vineyard that we saw canopy sizes and cane lengths we hadn’t seen in years. The summer began relatively cool but was punctuated by two heat spikes that accelerated ripening and produced intense flavors. The resulting vintage shows the health of the vines with a combination of concentration and freshness, with bright acids framing powerful fruit." - Winery
