No shy wine at 16.2% alcohol, it is a dense, savory, delicious red that is loaded with roasted meat, spicy pepper and red as well as black fruit characteristics and cuts an unctuous, juicy, thick swath across the palate. This exuberant, flamboyant 2009 should drink nicely for 5-7 years."
