Lisa Perrotti-Brown - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Are You Game? Shiraz offers notes of blackberries, black cherries, cassis, blueberries, some black pepper, violets and a hint of cloves. Medium to full-bodied and richly fruited in the mouth, it offers beautifully rounded, perfectly ripe tannins and a long, perfumed finish. An absolute bargain of a cracking Shiraz!"

"From Fowles Wine, who seem to be ever expanding their range, or at least have a lot of wines to dig through. Not a bad thing, just seems like a lot slide along the tasting bench. This is a wine of Victoria rather than the Fowles Strathbogie Ranges home. There’s some viognier in this shiraz.
Raspberry, red cherries, whiff of coconut-dusted-apricots, white pepper. A fair dash of white pepper in the palate, more red fruits, medium-bodied feel, cool and lengthy, hit of apricot-like sweetness too. Acidity pinches the wine a touch, but kind of refreshes the mouth and helps lick the sweetness away to a dryish finish. It’s a lovely, even-tempered, very easy to drink wine set firmly in the cooler expression of shiraz. Readily enjoyable."
