"The 2015 Crozes Hermitage Cuvee Louis Belle is cedary and rich, full-bodied and amply endowed with dark berry fruit and velvety tannins. It does show too much oak to be truly classic, but it's hedonistically delicious in a clean, modern style. It has a decade or more of pleasure ahead of it."

"I also loved the 2015 Crozes-Hermitage Cuvée Louis Belle which saw a traditional vinification followed by 20 months in French oak. Blackberry, currants, blueberries, violets and hints of black pepper give way to a rich, expansive, opulent Syrah that has sweet tannin and a great finish. Give it a few years of bottle age and enjoy over the following decade or more."

"A warm, inviting style, with lush raspberry, plum and boysenberry preserve flavors gliding through, laced liberally with cocoa and warm tobacco accents. A flash of iron keeps this honest enough, while the fruit drips through the finish. Drink now through 2021. 2,000 cases made, 300 cases imported. — JM"

"Bright magenta. Expansive aromas of dark berry liqueur, exotic spices, vanilla and candied flowers pick up a smoky nuance as the wine opens up. Fleshy and broad on the palate, offering intense oak-spiced cassis and blueberry flavors and a hint of violet. Finishes seamless and long, with an echo of juicy blue fruit and well-knit tannins that add subtle grip."
"Persistence and precision are already evident in this wine’s beautiful, deep, brilliant, garnet red.
The nose opens, rich and complex. Already it develops intense aromas of fruit liqueurs, cocoa bean, black fruit and sweet spices. As it breathes, if you take a little time to wait, it is enriched with a hint of sweetness and Virginia tobacco, almost peaty. Notes of vanilla, cloves and roast coffee express themselves and reinforce the complexity.
On the palate, this wine of character is rich and juicy. The tannins are velvety and provide the necessary support to this wonderful construction. This wine is both smooth and delicate. It will need another 2 to 4 years to open on fuller notes of black fruit jam and sweet spices." - Winery
