About

Product Description:

Set on the Right bank of the Garonne River, a little under 22 miles to the south of bordeaux, Chateau Haut Pasquet occupies occupies a southwest facing slope at an altitude of 100 meters (328 feet) overlooking the valley of Chateau la Benauge. The average age of the vines is 20 years old, and the cepage is 40% Semillon, 40% Sauvignon Blanc, and 20% Muscadelle. The wine shows a beautiful crisp herbaceous nose, that follows through on the palate with tropical lime acidity and a very clean finish. The Semillon gives body and structure, the Muscadelle gives floral tones and the Sauvignon Blanc gives a superb herbaceous freshness. As with typical dry White Bordeaux, the real appeal of this wine comes through when its paired with food. Try it with seafood and white meat dishes. (winery notes)
