"The 2011 Chianti Riserva Castelrotto possesses gorgeous depth and balance. A deep, resonant wine, the Castelrotto impresses for its total sense of harmony. The 2011 spent a year in French oak barrels followed by a year in cask. Now that the French oak has come down the Castelrotto is much more interesting than it has been in the past. Mori adds 15% Merlot to the blend here."
