James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com:

"A pretty red with a plum, dark berry and cherry character, as well as hints of chocolate. Full body, soft tannins and a fresh finish. It builds momentum on the palate. Drink or hold."

Antonio Galloni - Vinous:

"The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Le Due Sorelle wraps around the palate with serious depth. Dark cherry, plum, menthol, spices, new leather and a host of balsamic-inflected notes flesh out as this succulent, deeply-expressive wine shows off its distinctive personality. Mocha, leather and spice notes reappear on the powerful, layered finish."

Product Description:

"Montalcino’s vineyards are sheltered by Mount Amiata and kept dry by sea breezes from across the hills to the west. Densely planted vineyards produce low average yields, allowing wines with concentration, complexity and considerable aging potential. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Maceration lasted about 15 days in steel vats before malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The wine was aged in large Slovenian oak casks for three years and then one year in bottle before release." -Importer
