"The 2016 Doosberg Riesling Trocken "GG" is a rich, lush, fine and elegant wine with a deep, clear, intense and slightly oaky as well as yeasty bouquet with its discreet cognac and caramel notes. Round, lush and intense but transparent, fresh and very elegant on the ripe, almost smooth but subtly structured and persistent palate, this is a juicy, concentrated, beautifully balanced and persistent Riesling with fine tannins and lingering mirabelle flavors. It is a generous, intense and slightly salty Riesling with subtle tension and great digestibility on the finish. Tasted in May 2019."
