"This is still marked by residual notes of spontaneous fermentation but already hints at some superb scents of yellow peach, apricot, flowers and smoke. The wine coats the palate with quite some ripe and creamy fruits as well as a touch of toffee. The finish is light, refreshing and quite Kabinett in style, making it utterly easy to enjoy in this primary fruit side. It will however gain in elegance with a few years of bottle age." Product Description:

" The Fritz Haag estate produces wines that cover the full style spectrum, starting from a dry style and ranging to lusciously sweet. A mineral “slate” character and a pronounced and fruity acidity give the wines their sleek sophistication. The estate’s graceful, well-refined Rieslings are rated as impressive examples of the finest wines the Mosel region has to offer. Mosel Region Located in the Mosel River valley, the Fritz Haag estate is in the village of Brauneberg, a few kilometers upstream from Bernkastel. The Brauneberg vineyards are located on the steep, south-facing hillside on the opposite side of the river. Brauneberger Riesling Kabinett A selection of early-picked fruit from both the Juffer and Juffer Sonnenuhr vineyards, the Brauneberger Riesling Kabinett has a very fine, delicate structure and pure, enervating fruitiness that exemplifies the Fritz Haag style."
