"Steinertal: This exceptionally complex site offers both Grüner Veltliner and Riesling optimal terrain. The site is turned slightly towards the southwest and still enjoys good warmth in the evening that interchanges with the cool breezes from the north. Topsoil depth varies tremendously, just as does the temperature within the vineyard. Our Riesling roots in the highest and most meagre parcels and is a mirror image of the environment in which it grows. The foundation for Grüner Veltliner is in the lower lying terraces with deeper soil. Despite a rather creamy texture, vibrant acidity and profound mineral character are its most distinguishing features." - Winery
