"Hollerin begins at the place where Kellerberg approaches the valley floor. It is highly influence by the neighbouring mountainside in the upper portion, but the soils are deeper and the gneiss breaks the surface less frequently towards the bottom. Our Riesling is planted in the upper third where the loam is shallower and there is more rock. The Rieslings from Hollerin are generally approachable fairly early and yield abundant mineral notes and quite intense stone fruit aromas." - Winery
