John Gilman - View from the Cellar
"The estate's 2011 QbA is really a deep and classy wine that I would be delighted to have in my cellar for the next decade or more, but I guess I will have to look for it in Germany if I want to buy any for the long haul. The bouquet is deep and very, very stylish in its aromatic melange of apple, tangerine, slate, a touch of petrol, wild yeasts and a topnote of spring flowers. On the palate the wine is medium-full, fresh and juicy, with a lovely core of fruit, impeccable balance, ripe acids and lovely length and grip on the complex finish. This is just delicious out of the blocks, but could easily age twelve to fifteen years. 2012-2025+."
