Bouchard owns four hectares of vines used for the 2016 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavières, but they were only able to eke out 32 barrels from that. What survived is great: vibrant black cherry and raspberry scents on the nose, a fresh palate with fine tannin and a really bright and lively finish almost Vosne-like in style. Such a shame there is so little of it!
