“Olivet Lane is Merry Edwards’ big gun and the big gun always fired. The 2013 vintage from this splendid Russian River Valley property is deeply scented with a spicy, grapey perfume. On the palate the wine is layered and powerful, showing exceptional dimension while remaining elegant and in balance. There is a touch of forest floor and firm grip on the finish. Outstanding now, but even better in another three to five years.”
