"Chase has turned in a fabulous effort with his 2014 Petite Sirah from Calistoga, which was aged in French oak. This is one of the finest Petite Sirahs I’ve tasted, exhibiting copious quantities of blueberry liqueur, white flowers and pepper, followed by a full-bodied, massive concentration that is remarkable for a Petite Sirah. This comes from a vineyard called Barberis in Calistoga. Drink it over the next 25-30 years."
