"Sourced from the Mosconi vineyard in Monforte d’Alba at 1,200 feet above sea level. The average vine age is 50 years old. After a two week fermentation, the wine is then aged in lightly toasted French oak (1/3 new, 1/3 second use, 1/3 three+ uses) for 24 months before aging an additional year in bottle. 800 cases produced." - Distributor
