"The 2010 Nectar was aged for 36 months in French oak, a mixture of new and used. A Vinsanto styled wine, it has 154 grams per liter of residual sugar and 14% alcohol. The price applies to a 375ml bottle. This has been seen before, but it was well worth taking another look because some time in the bottle has allowed it to develop and become more expressive. It's right on track. Aromatic and fresh, this is well marked by its acidity that cuts through that sugar and the mid-palate and makes the wine seem drier and more burnished as time goes on. The juicy finish is simply bursting with fruit, sugar and a complex medley of flavors. This should continue to hold well for the foreseeable future."
