This is a 375ML or half size bottle!

"Rich in the mouth, this is a smooth, unctuous wine, made even more attractive by its lemon and honey freshness. The dryness of botrytis comes through to the finish, with a delicious lifted acidity running right through the wine. It is rich, but balanced by that fine acidity." 93 points Wine Enthusiast

"Smoky and more obviously oaky on the nose than the Climens, a touch of linseed and sage, but there’s still a lovely fresh apricot aroma to complement the oak. Finishes with a slightly dry grip in the texture. (JH)" 16.5 points out of 20, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages

WINE:
"Some rather difficult climatic periods during the harvest, with alternating rain and sun, involved the development of non-desirable fungi and obliged us to make a most rigorous selection. The very severe sortings made in the vineyard during the harvest led us to eliminate 70% of the crop to produce a vintage in the traditional quality of the wines from La Tour Blanche. Harvested between the 4th of October to the 9th of November."

"Using the three traditional Sauternes grape varieties Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle this wine is the result of a severe selection. So as to optimise the beneficial effects of Noble Rot ("La Pourriture Noble"), harvesting is carried out in a series of selective pickings which often necessitates the grape-pickers going through the rows up to 4 or 6 times. Each vintage is vinified and aged in French-oak barrels, which are entirely renewed every harvest, for 16 to 18 months."

"The colour is golden yellow. The nose reveals vanilla, toasted bread and candied fruits aromas. After aeration some notes of dried apricot and hints of mint and citrus peels are revealed. The attack in mouth is supple with a good volume. The aromatic expression is highlighted by the freshness of the wine. Then dried apricot and citrus notes clearly appear. The final is silky and spicy." -Winery
