Aged in 40% new French oak, Lot 468 displays the classic elements that define the Oakville AVA. Dip your nose in the glass and discover plush Merlot notes of plum, red currant, green olives, and fresh herbs that mesh seamlessly in a framework of dusty black fruit and earth provided by the Cabernet. With some air in the glass, pretty floral and cherry notes emerge, providing vibrancy and youthfulness. On the palate, mouth coating tannins are infused with black cherry and cassis, with enough acidity for a long and lingering finish.
