"Dark inky purple colour. Ripe but nuanced nose of blackberry, cassis, fine oak, tobacco and leather. The palate is dense with good extract, young but ripe tannin, fine peppery and spicy notes and healthy dose of freshness. Very dense and long finish, a big and potent wine with good layers and nuance in a bold and ripe style."
Product Description:
"Nazarenas is a 25 hectare vineyard and represents the winery's most valuable winegrowing legacy. The Malbec vines were planted in 1923, using the furrow irrigation system.
Hails from the Agrelo region, in Luján de Cuyo, and stands at the foothills, in the highest area of the Mendoza River.
It is there; surrounded by dry soil, radiant sunshine, cool nights and pure water from Los Andes, where the Malbec finds the appropriate place for its natural needs. These unique characteristics, together with our workers’ hard labour, allow us to obtain wines with a distinctive personality, aromatic concentration, notable structure and an elegant wine finish.
When defining our terroir, we not only refer to dry soil, radiant sunshine, cool nights and pure water from Los Andes, but also to the attitude of the people working in the vineyards and wineries. From their workplaces, each of them represents with responsibility and compromise, the communion of human effort with nature; that is our terroir.” Ignacio Aristi, Winemaker
