(75% macabeu and 25% garnatxa blanca): Pale yellow. Powerful aromas of poached pear, nectarine and smoky minerals; smells like there's oak here but there's none. Sappy and broad on the palate, offering pliant tropical and pit fruit flavors and a touch of bitter pear skin. Lots of fruit here. Closes smooth and supple, with lingering pit fruit character and good length. Serious wine for the money here.
