"(made from 80 year-old bush vines and aged for eight months in new French oak): Bright ruby. Spicy, floral aromas of candied red berries, allspice, vanilla and incense. Bright and refreshing on the palate, offering sexy raspberry liqueur and floral pastille flavors underscored by a smoky mineral quality. There's something Pinot-like happening here. Closes with strong finishing cut and persistence, with silky tannins adding grip."

Menguante - Menguante means 'waning moon'. In biodynamic viticulture, the casks are racked at night only when there is a waning moon, for fear the gravitational force from a fuller moonwill bring the sediment up from the bottom of the cask.
The bodega was founded in 1760 with their present state-of-the-art bodega constructed over the former bodega. The Pablo family continues to implement cutting edge technology in this modern facility. Their objective is to transmit the essence of the land and the unique flavor of the indigenous grapes to their wines." - Importer
